Melissa A. Perrotta Marinelli, Esq.
Melissa has been practicing law since 2004 following her graduation from Touro Law School, where she was the recipient of several awards for academic excellence and a member of the Moot Court Board. She obtained her undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany.
Prior to forming her own practice, Melissa spent almost 5 years working together with her father, Michael F Perrotta, Esq., a well known and respected personal injury trial attorney in Suffolk County. During this time Melissa handled a variety of personal injury matters from inception through trial. Working with her dad was the highlight of her legal career. She learned a tremendous amount about the law and what it means to do the best possible job for your clients. Sadly, Michael passed away in April 2020. In his honor, Melissa has formed the Law Office of Melissa Perrotta Marinelli to carry on his legacy and tradition of commitment and working as hard as possible to obtain the best results for her clients.
Earlier in her career, Melissa worked for several prominent insurance defense firms in New York City and Long Island, handling a variety of cases, including motor vehicles accidents, premises liability, property damage and construction accidents.
In addition to handling personal injury matters, Melissa is proficient in handling Wills & Trusts and Estates, as well as real estate matters.
Outside of the office Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and shopping.
